Whether it's an indoor screen or an outdoor screen, the most effective way to avoid moisture damage to the display's functionality is frequent use. The display screen will generate a certain amount of heat and evaporate a certain amount of water vapor in the working state, which greatly reduces the possibility of short circuit caused by moisture. Therefore, the humidity effect of frequently used displays is much smaller than that of infrequently used displays. Industry insiders suggest that in the rainy season, the LED display should be used at least once a week and turned on at least once a month for more than 2 hours.

In addition to the waterproof and moisture-proof outdoor advertising LED display installed in the rainy season, engineers and dealers should also understand the treatment method if water gets into LED display.

The correct way to deal with the water in the LED display:

        1. Use a fan or other tools to completely dry the water inlet LED display at the fastest speed.

        2. Turn on a completely dry screen for burn-in. Specific steps are as follows:

        a. Adjust the brightness (full white) to 10%, and power on and age for 8-12 hours.

        b. Adjust the brightness (full white) to 30%, and power on and age for 12 hours.

        c. Adjust the brightness (full white) to 60%, and power on and age for 12-24 hours.

        d. Adjust the brightness (full white) to 80%, and power on and age for 12-24 hours.

        e. Adjust the brightness (full white) to 100%, and power on and age for 8-12 hours.

After completing the above steps, the LED display basically returns to normal; however, the following points should be paid attention to during the processing:

        1. Do not put the flooded LED display into the air box to avoid the LED light being sultry.

        2. When water enters the warehouse, the air box may be flooded. All air boxes should be exposed to sunlight to prevent water volatilization into the LED display after the package body.

        3. If all water-ingressed LED displays are not dealt with in time, it may affect the stability of the screen more or less. During emergency handling, the screen may keep crashing after power on.

4. All LED displays with water inlet are in the air box. After more than 72 hours, the screen is basically worthless to repair. Please, handle with care.
