Indoor LED displays, especially those with small pixel pitch, have become a standard in conference rooms and command centers, and are gradually dominating the indoor display device market. Currently, several types of display devices are used indoors, including projectors, LCD screens, and LED displays. So what are the advantages of LED displays compared to other display devices? Today, HSC LED will analyze this for you.
HSC LED reminds everyone that indoor LED displays have the following advantages over LCD displays:
LCD screens have large single screen areas, making it difficult to achieve seamless splicing when combining multiple screens. Indoor LED displays, on the other hand, are composed of numerous small unit modules, allowing for arbitrary and seamless splicing. The screen area can range from less than one square meter to several hundred or even thousands of square meters.
LCD screens generally need replacement after about a year and a half of use due to rapid decay of luminous flux. Indoor LED displays, however, are made up of module units each containing numerous LED chips, which have a lifespan of over 100,000 hours (ten years) or more. If some of the chips fail, they can be easily replaced.
Indoor LED displays have high brightness, high grayscale, high refresh rate, and intelligent dimming control, resulting in excellent color rendering ability. The high refresh rate ensures smooth and clear images without ghosting or jitter, while automatic brightness adjustment provides optimal playback effects in different lighting environments. Overall, the display performance of indoor LED displays is superior to LCD screens.
The viewing angle of indoor LED displays is generally greater than 160 degrees, while that of outdoor displays is greater than 120 degrees. The outdoor displays of LED display manufacturer Guangying Dashifu have a viewing angle of more than 140 degrees, ensuring clear and visible information from any direction. This eliminates the need to awkwardly lean towards a screen like with LCD screens.
Indoor LED displays are composed of many independent small matrix modules, so if one module fails, it can be easily replaced without affecting other modules. In addition, with the increasingly mature large-scale integrated circuit technology, LED displays support easy front and back maintenance.
Indoor LED displays can display various texts, numbers, color images, and animations, as well as play color video signals such as television, recording, VCD, and DVD. Multiple displays can also be networked for broadcast. Their advanced digital video processing capabilities and software compatibility make them easy to interface with computers.
In addition to these advantages, indoor LED displays also have high protection levels. With the breakthroughs in clarity and smoothness of small pixel pitch LED displays, their applications are becoming wider and more in line with the development trends of the display industry.
